Congratulations to each of you as you participate in this year’s Ms. Senior Georgia Pageant. You have begun a journey in sisterhood that you will treasure for the rest of your lives. During this weekend you will be thrown into an organized frenzy that will have your palms sweating and your heart beating a litter faster while you throw on costumes and evening gowns. You’ll have your make-up applied by professionals, just so, you’ll be wearing sparkling jewelry that will make your eyes twinkle. You’ll walk onto that stage and your husbands, friends and families will be amazed, but you won’t be. Because you’ve had this bit of glamour inside of you all along, you are a classic American woman.
The Georgia Classic Club is a sisterhood of former contestants whose purpose is to serve as role models for senior women throughout the community, to provide speakers and entertainment for various community groups, and to encourage and foster lifelong friendships. And besides all of that, we just plain have fun!
